Cardura XL Interactions

If you take certain drugs with Cardura XL, interactions may occur. Alpha blockers, blood pressure medications, and certain antibiotics are just a few of the medications that can react negatively with Cardura XL. Some of these interactions can alter the amounts of the medications in your blood, possibly increasing your risk for side effects or other problems.

An Overview of Interactions With Cardura XL

Cardura® XL (doxazosin XL) may potentially react with many other medications. Some of the drugs that may lead to interactions with Cardura XL include but are not limited to:
 
 
 
  • Certain HIV or AIDS medications, such as:
 
 
 
 
  • Phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5 inhibitors), such as:
