Enlarged Prostrate Causes
Were you looking for information about the Cause of Enlarged Prostate? Enlarged prostrate causes is a common misspelling and variation of the causes of enlarged prostate.
The exact cause of an enlarged prostate gland is currently not known. However, hormones and genetics appear to play a role in the development of an enlarged prostate. While some researchers believe that an enlarged prostate may be related to a drop in testosterone levels as men age, others believe the cause is related to "reawakened" cells that deliver signals to other cells in the prostate, instructing them to grow or making them more sensitive to hormones that influence growth.
(Click Cause of Enlarged Prostate for more information about how hormones may play a role in causing an enlarged prostate and an explanation of how genetics may also be linked to the condition.)
