Flomax® (tamsulosin hydrochloride) is a prescription medication that is used to quickly relieve the symptoms of an enlarged prostate by relaxing the muscles of the prostate and bladder. Flomax is not a cure for an enlarged prostate, nor will it shrink the prostate. There are some potential side effects of Flomax, including abnormal ejaculation, a runny or stuffy nose, and dizziness.
