Are you at risk for an enlarged prostate? Unless you are a woman, the answer is probably "yes." What are the other risk factors for this condition?
Age is a big one, as the risk for BPH increases as men get older. Also, blame your dad (or grandfather) if they had BPH, as genetics play a role too. Unfortunately, you can't change your age or your genetics, but there are a couple of risk factors that you can do something about.
Being and couch potato and being overweight both increase your risk for an enlarged prostate, so get active and lose those extra pounds!
Strangely enough, smoking cigarettes actually decreases your risk for an enlarged prostate (but this is not a good reason to start smoking).
What about sex? Whether you have lots of sex or none at all, the amount of sex you have doesn't affect your risk for an enlarged prostate.
