When certain medications are taken with Uroxatral, drug interactions may occur. Some of these interactions could significantly increase the amount of Uroxatral in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Among the medications that can lead to negative Uroxatral interactions include blood pressure medications, certain antibiotics, and nitrates. Make sure to talk to your healthcare provider before taking Uroxatral with any of these medications.

An Overview of Uroxatral Drug Interactions

Uroxatral® (alfuzosin hydrochloride) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to Uroxatral drug interactions include:

  • Other alpha blockers similar to Uroxatral, including:

 

 

  • Phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5 inhibitors), including:
