Who Should Not Take Proscar?

You should not take Proscar if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Proscar, finasteride, or any inactive component used to make Proscar. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make Proscar.
     
  • Are or may be pregnant.
