Other Alpha Blockers
It is not known if
Rapaflo will interact with other alpha blockers. However, due to the potential for dangerously low
blood pressure, Rapaflo should not be taken with other alpha blockers.
Phosphodiesterase Type 5 Inhibitors (PDE5 Inhibitors)
Other medications that are very similar to Rapaflo can interact with PDE5 inhibitors, increasing the risk of dangerously low blood pressure. Although research suggests that Rapaflo does not seem to interact with these medications, caution should be taken when combining these medications.
Quinidine
Quinidine may greatly increase the level of Rapaflo in your blood, increasing your risk of
Rapaflo side effects. Check with your healthcare provider before taking quinidine with Rapaflo. In general, you should not combine Rapaflo with quinidine.
It is possible that not all Rapaflo drug interactions were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any specific drug interactions with Rapaflo that may apply to you.
