Who Should Not Take Rapaflo?

You should not take Rapaflo if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Rapaflo, silodosin, or any of the inactive components used to make Rapaflo. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.

 

  • Have severe liver disease.

 

  • Have severe kidney disease.

 

  • Take certain medications that greatly increase the level of Rapaflo in your blood (see Rapaflo Interactions), such as:

 

 

Final Thoughts

There are a number of situations in which Rapaflo should not be taken, along with several precautions and warnings people should be aware of before starting the medication. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings or precautions with Rapaflo were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about the specific ones that may apply to you.
