Uroxatral Interactions

Nicardipine (Cardene)
Nicardipine may significantly increase the level of Uroxatral in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Check with your healthcare provider before taking nicardipine with Uroxatral. In general, you should not combine Uroxatral with nicardipine.
 
Nitrates
Combining Uroxatral with a nitrate medication could cause dangerously low blood pressure. Do not take these medications together without your healthcare provider's approval and supervision.
 
Other Alpha Blockers
It is not known if Uroxatral will interact with other alpha blockers. However, due to the potential for dangerously low blood pressure, Uroxatral should not be taken with other alpha blockers.
 
Phosphodiesterase Type 5 Inhibitors (PDE5 Inhibitors)
